A four-part series of the message of the Gospel as told in the book of Psalms.
The Gospel According to Psalms: Restoration and the Unshakable Kingdom (Psalm 48)
Jesus was crucified, buried, raised, and ascended…the Gospel is first preached…the first church is formed…there will be a new Jerusalem in the new heaven and new earth.
Gospel According to the Psalms: Remember Redemption (Psalm 103)
Just as He was when he revealed this to Moses after the Israelites fashioned
a golden calf our of their treasures, He still is gracious and slow to anger with us today.
Gospel According to the Psalms: The Fall (Psalm 51)
David says his sin is “ever before” him. He suffers under the weight of his condemnation (described further in Ps 32:4-5). In verse 4, David says that he has sinned “only” against the Lord, meaning that he has broken laws set by God
Gospel According to the Psalms: Creation (Psalm 8)
He is the uncreated Creator, the self-existent one, and He is absolutely complete in himself. The name Yahweh also means that he will be true to himself. He cannot be manipulated or forced into anything – he will be who he will be.
