Exodus 21:1-24:18

God has entered into a covenant with Israel. His chosen people have His moral law written on stone tablets. How are they now to apply that law to the everyday situations they may face? This section of Exodus answers
that question. In chapters 21-23, God “sets rules before” His people that are to govern how they are to interact with one another as a called-out community of faith (Exodus 21:1). And then in chapter 24, we see the
closing ceremonies of the covenant.
