Exodus 20:1-11

Throughout human history, there have been important moments where God broke through into time and space and changed everything for us, forever. The first and most easily recognizable intervention is at the very beginning of time, and of Scripture. “In the beginning, God…” (Genesis 1:1). God’s establishment of a covenant with Abraham was another time everything changed (Genesis 17). Thousands of years later, God kept His promises and sent His Son Jesus to live perfectly in human flesh and die in our place for our sin (John 1:1, 14; 1 Corinthians 15:3; 2 Corinthians 5:21). In this passage of Exodus, we will read about another interaction of God with Man where everything changed forever.
